It's that time of year already to
start your breeding season
plans.
Let our large animal doctors help you to create a successful experience. Our breeding programs offer convenient
and efficient mare management
to optimize your breeding success. Whether using fresh
cooled or frozen A. I. techniques,
we welcome you to tour our
large animal facility and speak
with our equine doctors during
the early planning phases of
your breeding season.
Whenever we are working with your
mares at our climate-controlled
facility or on the farm, we are as
excited as you are to help produce your next generation of
winners.
Expecting Anyone?
To ensure a healthy start for
your foal, your mares need to be
fully immunized 3-6 weeks prior
to their anticipated due date.
Foals rely on receiving antibody-rich colostrum to develop their
own immune systems and vaccinating the dam helps ensure
this.
We still want to meet your
new arrivals within 12-24 hours
of birth. We give newborns a
complete physical examination
and run an important blood test
to measure their antibody levels.
