The purpose of obedience training is to set rules that everyone in the family can comfortable live with. Through training, we will be able to increase communication between your family and your dog and be sure that your dog has the manners needed to be a well behaved, enjoyable member of the family. The following are some simple training guidelines to keep in mind over the next weeks.

Consistency is the key to dog training.
You have to make sure everybody has the same rules and expectations for your dog.

A tired dog is a good dog.
Dogs that get adequate exercise on a daily basis are happier and more easily trained.

Work with your dog daily.
10-15 minutes are long enough for a training session to be effective.

Fair    Firm    FUN Training should be enjoyable, but rules should apply EVERYDAY! Never let your emotions take over when training. If you lose control of your emotions, you lose respect from your dog.
