Dr. Kristine Collins graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She spent the next ten months working with a small animal veterinary surgeon at Surgical Options in Madison.
In March of 2002 she began at Country View Veterinary Service. Although Dr. Collins has a keen interest in all animals, her focus is in small animal medicine and surgery. She enjoys learning about new medical advances and helping owners care for their pets. Her goal as a veterinarian is "informing owners of all options available while keeping their animals healthy and happy."
Prior to graduation she spent five years working with clinic veterinarians, clinicians and students at the Veterinary School in Madison. She and her husband moved to Wisconsin from Omaha, Nebraska, in 1995. They live in downtown Oregon with their cats Veronika, Allison, and Madeline.
She enjoys helping the Dane Country Humane Society by volunteering regularly with spays and neutering. She also is active within the local Rotary Club volunteering with local service projects and continuing beautification of Oregon's Lerner Park. In her spare time she enjoys camping, sailing, hiking and gardening.
