Dr.
Larry Mahr has been practicing in Oregon for thirty years, after graduating from Iowa
State University in 1966.
He grew up on an Iowa Guernsey dairy farm, cared for a flock of sheep and helped keep
a team of draft horses busy planting corn, mowing hay or pleasure
riding.
Most of his practice time has been spent on
livestock farms and horse stables in the Oregon area.
He lives with Karl
Frederick, a miniature dachshund, and is part owner of a Shetland pony,
Opi, that his grandchildren ride.
