Dr. Emily Leuthner, our practice manager, is board certified in Large Animal Internal Medicine. She received her DVM and Masters Degree in equine immunology from the University of Wisconsin and completed her medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center. Her main interests include neurological and cardiac diseases. Her desire to understand how body systems worked led her to become a veterinarian. Dr. Leuthner enjoys combining her interest in business management with helping clients and their horses.
Prior to joining Country View Veterinary Service in March of 2004, Dr. Leuthner operated a solo equine practice in southern Wisconsin.
She and her husband, a small animal veterinarian, have two young boys and operate a small equine retirement facility from their home. In her free time, Dr. Leuthner enjoys riding, gardening, practicing yoga and playing with her boys.
